Groupize Welcomes Karen Crane as Account Manager

Leading meeting and event tech platform continues expansion of Customer Success team with the addition of meetings and events industry veteran

BOSTON, MA, (Feb 23, 2021) – Groupize, the industry’s most innovative platform for meetings and event management, announced today the appointment of Karen Crane as Account Manager.  In her new role, she will serve as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to Groupize enterprise customers to ensure they achieve meetings management success.

Karen brings the perfect mix of travel, meetings, and technology experience. She has been making a name for himself in the travel industry since 1993, earning multiple accreditations and accolades. Having started her career in leisure and corporate travel, she eventually found her calling in Meetings & Events (M&E). Her areas of expertise include Group Air, MICE travel, Sales Support, and Events. She also brings a wealth of experience in leading teams in Group Air and meeting technology, including providing technology support for SAP Concur, meeting registration tools, and registration builds.

Most recently, Karen worked as an Events Account Specialist at Travel & Transport. Once CTM acquired the company, she moved into Sales Support Manager in Events. Before that, Karen worked at Amex as a specialized corporate travel counselor booking corporate and event travel along with HCP travel.   She was onsite at Boston Scientific and Hologic. She then became a Team Leader for Amex at the Hologic account, working closely with the Travel Manager and M&E teams to ensure customer satisfaction and travel policy compliance.
