Training Specialist

The Training Specialist will be responsible for providing our clients and internal resources with the knowledge and tools to successfully and independently implement and utilize any and all products. This is a key role in the Customer Success division of Groupize, focused on training, adoption and customer delight. The Training Specialist will work very closely with the Product and Sales departments to support successful implementations of SaaS software in large organizations.

  • Develop an extensive working knowledge of the Groupize product suite, including the product suite of integration partners.
  • Coordinate new customer implementations, providing effective training to maximize use and adoption of the software.
  • Conduct frequent web-based training for all products.
  • Develop training materials for the Groupize solutions including video tutorials, help center articles and manuals.
  • Develop training materials for the introduction of new modules/functionality for repeated use by various internal departments, and clients.
  • Develop communications to users for product releases, updates and learning opportunities.
  • Provide end-user application support.
  • Troubleshoot issues reported by customers and provide solutions.
  • Facilitate problem-solving between end user and our development staff.
  • Participate in testing new releases of the product.
  • Integrate client best practices into delivery of training for a more relatable client experience.
  • Lead engaging weekly training and product update webinars.
  • Develop technical trainings and materials to support products launches.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure learning content is current, accurate, consistent and aligned with business strategy.
  • Ensure constant quality improvement of training materials through constant optimization and automation of training process.
  • Development of case studies and white papers for successful clients.
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field.
  • 2 -5 years of experience providing software support and/or training.
  • Experience with the application of adult learning methodologies and techniques required.
  • Experience delivering web-based training.
  • Experience developing style guides, conforming to accepted standards in the field.
  • Experience in travel or meeting technology preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Must possess willingness to be flexible in order to meet deadlines and complete projects as assigned.
  • Ability to understand and adopt new technology for producing effective and engaging training experience.
  • Ability to review and provide constructive criticism on all documentation for accuracy, proper grammar, and utility.
  • Ability to successfully interact with clients and understand the needs of each unique organization.
  • Ability to maintain motivate and support customers, colleagues and team members.
  • Project Management technology skills.
