Single Sign-On (SSO)

Groupize utilizes SAML 2.0 to connect to a client’s Identity Provider Store (IDP). The assumption is made that email address is the primary identifier for the IDP and the IDP is sending the request with the signed certificate. If an account in Groupize is configured with single sign on enabled, then a user must be logged into the client’s internal system in order to access Groupize. When the user accesses Groupize they will be redirected to the appropriate portal page to begin sourcing and creating events. Groupize Single Sign On can be configured to allow new account creation within Groupize or require the user be authorized internally first.

Benefits:

  • Risk Mitigation – Password Safety
  • Adoption – Ease for User to Login
  • Security – Consistent Authentication Across All Integrations
